Rule 35
Evaluation of Training
: (1) A maximum of seven point five marks will be given for any two of the following trainings taken while in police service:
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), while awarding marks for basic training, the post of one level above the post of basic training Marks will not be awarded for promotion to other posts except for promotion.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), no marks shall be given for training of a duration of less than fifteen days in awarding marks for training to police personnel.
(4) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), police personnel shall be given training as mentioned in Schedule-10.
(5) When calculating the marks of a police employee for unopened training, marks equivalent to (b) grade will be calculated.
(6) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (4), marks as per sub-rule (1) shall be given even in the case of training acquired by a police employee before the commencement of this regulation.

(8) When promoted to the post of police assistant constable, the training done in the post of police constable, when promoted to the post of police constable, the training done in the post of police assistant constable and police constable, and when promoted to the post of senior police constable, the training done in the post of police constable, police assistant constable and police constable will be counted.
(8A) For promotion to the post of Assistant Inspector of Police, the points of training completed in the posts of Senior Police Constable, Police Constable and Assistant Police Constable will be counted.
(9) Training in the post of Assistant Inspector of Police when promoted to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police and training in the post of Sub-Inspector of Police and Assistant Inspector of Police when promoted to the post of Senior Deputy Inspector of PoliceLim's part will be counted.
(9a) When promoted to the post of police inspector, the training done in the post of Senior Deputy Inspector of Police, Deputy Inspector of Police and Assistant Inspector of Police will be counted.
(10) In the case of promotion to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police, the marks for training in the post of Police Inspector and in the case of promotion to the post of Superintendent of Police will be counted.
(11) When promoted to the post of Senior Superintendent of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police and Additional Inspector General of Police, the marks for the training received in the currently employed post and one rank below it will be counted.
